Dynamic bike fit consultations for either pre-bike purchase or positioning on a currently owned bicycle to prevent injury, increase comfort and improve power and aerodynamics. The Watt Shop is also a full-service shop that can complete bicycles repairs, component installs and tune-ups.

The Watt Shop is a full-service studio that not only provides a dynamic bike fit service, but they also have a certified bicycle mechanic from U of Q Institute, formerly Barnett’s Bicycle Institute, that can help with all repairs, component installations, bike builds and tune-ups. The Watt Shop prides itself on attention to detail and making sure each bicycle is treated as if it was their own. The service area is outfitted with all the proper bike tools to perform the required repairs or installations.
Preventative Maintenance
Preventative maintenance is critical to the efficiency and operation of the components on a bicycle. Poor maintenance can lead to mechanical failures, costly repairs and friction that forces the rider to waste energy to produce power. Having a quick, 5 minute, pre and post ride inspection is critical to the health and safety of the rider.
Pre-ride Inspection
- Inspect tires
- Tire pressure
- Brake function
- Quick release levers closed/thru axles tight
- Chain inspection/lubricate
- Batteries charged for electronic groupsets if required
- Safety lights charged
Post-ride Inspection
- Inspect tires
- Quick clean of chain/lubricate
- Charge batteries for electronic groupsets if required
- Charge safety lights
- Wipe down frame and components
Tune-Up Packages
For more in depth inspections, lubrication and cleaning The Watt Shop offers several tune-up packages to keep you rolling. Every package includes pre bike fit measurements prior to any work and guaranteed to be put back in position.
THE PIT STOP ($80)
This package is designed for those athletes preparing for a race that want to make sure the bike is race ready.
- All bolts torqued back to manufacturer specifications
- Headset bearing adjustment as needed
- Derailleur limit screws and indexing of gears inspected/adjusted as needed
- Firmware updates on electronic groupsets if required
- Chain inspection
- Tire inspection
- Add tubeless sealant as needed for tubless wheelsets
- Rim and disc brake pad inspection/adjustments if required
- Tire pressure
- Inspect bar tape
THE FIX UP ($200)
This package includes everything listed in The Pit Stop package plus the following:
- Replace derailleur housing and cables
- Replace rim/disc brake housing and cables. (*does not include hydraulic hose)
- Flush and bleed hydraulic brakes
- Inspect brake pads and rotors
- Inspect bottom bracket bearings
- Inspect headset bearings
- Inspect wheel hub bearings
- Lateral and radial trueness of wheels
- Lubrication and grease as required
- Cleaning and polishing of bike Frame (*$30 additional charge for extremely dirty bikes)
THE OVERHAUL ($400)
This package is as described and includes everything in THE PIT STOP & THE FIX UP package.
- The bike will be completely disassembled down to the frame, inspected, cleaned, lubricated and reassembled
- All components will be cleaned, inspected, and lubricated (*Ultrasonic cleaner for compatible components).
- Wheel trueness
*Parts are additional cost if required
*Owner will be notified of costs and parts needed prior to any work being completed
